Just read new email regarding Explorer Spa. Email confirmed that fitness center is accessible by stairs from spa. I guess Regent doesn't want anyone using wheel chair or walker to use the gym. I sure hope they fix this during construction (by providing access door on Deck 6).

I agree with you, Marc. By today's standards that's just not right. Editing to add I just re-read the email. Evidently if you cannot walk up or down stairs you cannot even take a yoga class.

IF you take the stairs you don't need Fitness Center! Those disabled have the elevators.

Hmmm ... Thanks for that info, Marc and Kathy. I can't imagine. Surely there will be Deck 6 access to the fitness center. Maybe because the focus of the email was the spa they just didn't mention it. Surely.

At Rodeo i asked Randall about access to fitness center. When he returned to Miami he checked and sent back this reply: We have confirmed that although the primary entrance is up the internal staircase from deck 5, there is a secondary entrance accessible from Deck 6 aft.
