Anyone have any excursion highlights on this cruise? Have 4 day post cruise hotel at the Intercontinental. Thanks for your help in deciding on hotel. So many helpful responses sent from LCT fans!

Mary Elaine, it has been awhile since I have been there but I think my favorite excursion was when we rented a scooter in Moorea and took a leisurely ride up to the top of the mountain that has the panoramic view of the bay. There was no traffic at all on our ride, just cows and beautiful scenery!

Don't know if they still offer it, but one we loved was the parasailing from the speedboat in Moorea - awesome views from up there!

We are starting to get serious about the excursions for the cruise. I have examined the PG cruise excursions and done some research on Cruise Critic. I have also corresponded with some of the tour operators. In Aitutaki, we will probably book with Teking Lagoon Cruises. See Teking Lagoon Cruise Tours.

For the time being, we are focusing on the Signature Lagoon Cruise. However, if others want to get involved, we can explore something more personalized, e.g., a charter.

It is my understanding that sometimes there is difficulty in "landing" in the ports of the Cook Islands, but I think the tour operators have reasonable cancellation policies if that should happen.
