I'm posting a link to this really interesting blog. It's posted on the other board in the Seabourn forum. The couple starts the trip in August, spending a couple of weeks in France, England and Holland (all of those entries are fun to read too) and then they board the ship on September 10th in Southampton and take it to the U.S. via the UK, Iceland and Greenland.

I just finished reading the blog today. It's very long! I enjoyed the parts relating to their land portion of the trip best. Their tale of almost getting arrested in the Paris airport was a cautionary tale! In the last section I read today they said they prefer the smaller Princess and HAL ships to both Seabourn and Regent...it's all so subjective.

I just finished reading the blog as well. I had to show the part about getting detained/almost arrested in the train station to George. Very scary! I would have been calling the US Embassy too.
