We already have our January/February booked (Miami to Buenos Aires on Regent); but are looking ahead to 2014, at potential Oceania cruise in French Poynesia. We've been on PG twice and sailed Regent's Mariner through FP. So, looking for comparisons by folks who've done both (or all three) wonder.

DH and I are the only one's in the group who've been to FP and are trying to provide a "trip of a life time" for our kids while trying to save a few dollars, too. I am seriously thinking of putting our kids in inside staterooms waah However, don't want to save money and then have the kids (all in their 30s) have a less than stellar (given their frame of reference) experience AND don't want Gretchen and I to spend the whole trip wishing we were on PG, either sad.

Anyway, appreciate any thoughts on the subject.

Thanks,
Greg

Greg - Been watching for any responses to your post. I would also like to know about Oceania in FP. Have sailed PG once and loved it, but it was several years ago and PG is getting to be pretty pricey.
