I hope they do something to improve the pool bar! It is just too small! That was one of our main complaints!

Wow - cool! Can't wait to see her in person in a few weeks.

How did you get these pictures???

Oh, and can they send me a chocolate croissant from that bakery to get me ready for next month?

Oh yes! Salt sticks!
Our waiters always learn to get rid of the rest of the bread, and ONLY bring the salt sticks to the table. HOWEVER, when we were on the Navigator last time, THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANY SALT STICKS!!!!

Karen - Glad to hear they had them on Navigator for you guys - we were bummed that they didn't have them when we cruised in November (but, in the long run, probably was a GOOD thing since it kept me from eating too many carbs)!!

Cindy, I am usually bread-free until I step on a Regent ship and get my nightly fix of one salt stick!! One of my splurges when on a cruise.

Me too!! Bread is NOT on the menu at home waah

I do, however, indulge when we are cruising - but only the salt stick [Linked Image]! If there are no salt sticks, I will just pass on the bread altogether!!

OH MY - it is sweet ship BUT I would select Mariner/Vogager in a heart beat - we had 27 nights on Nav few yrs ago and 17 nights recently - no complaints last trip but prefer other 2 ships -

Glad you had a great trip... I know you went through a tough time on the 27 nights, we had a few issues ourselves, nothing like you did though.. Hopefully there will be some NEW PLUMBING pipes going in as well..

Terry Breene reported the following in her newsletter:

"Starting May 12, the Seven Seas Navigator will be going into to dry-dock for extensive re-modeling. The ship will be out-of-service until May 30, at which time the regular 7-day Alaska cruises resume.

Though I do not have all the details I do know that preparations are being made for the following:

New Carpeting throughout. New wall and window treatments in select areas. Major face-lift for all the suites. Improvements to the Seven Seas Show Lounge. Enlargement of Prime 7. Re-modeling of La Veranda including installation of new menu dinner service. Remodeling of Pool deck including new decking. New steam and sauna in Spa."

Thanks Karen. Fabulous photos - unbelievable! Never really conisdered what went into a refit.

Know this has nothing to do with Navigator but am glad Mariner isn't in that condition - just watched it sail into Venice. Absolutely fabulous weather - beautiful sight! We join her tomorrow!

I just got off the ship in the repositioning cruise, bittersweet to see these pictures. Sad to see all the tearing up going on, looking forward to seeing her all put back together. It was my first time on the Navigator and loved the ship!

Great photos, Karen. Thanks! Can't wait to see the "new Navigator" when we board her for our Fall Colors cruise this October.
