I called the regular Omaha number today. Jackie tried to help me out. Found out that my regular number had my father's address but my zip code; thus no letter received. She found four more numbers under my name. The one with the correct address had ZERO days associated with thus no letter. On the one they tried to send to my father's address, she said I had 147 days!!! Arlene is going to be mad if she finds I have 57 more days than her! :eek:

Well, a week later and I not only haven't gotten the SSS letter, we have stopped getting ANY mail from Radisson. No brochures, no letters, no nothing. I guess I'll try calling *somebody* in the next day or so.

No letter for me yet. Did get a nice brochure for PG/Tahiti in the mail today.

Same here.... nothing. No PG brochure, either.

I received the World Cruise brochure and I have to say, it was very nice. I liked the black and green color combo!

No letter, no brochures, nothing. Speaking to Rose did nothing....... not sure I should even call again

We received the World brochure this past weekend. It is nice, and I'm sure it was expensive to produce. But personally I think it is awfully late to send it, given how long bookings have been available.

I just called the generic 800 number on the RSSC site, talked to a nice man who said that we both should be getting mail. He said he'd tell "them" to send me some mail posthaste.

We'll see.

(Edit) The mail came and we did get our SSS letter. It was addressed to Mr & Mrs, so I'm thinking those of us who call might be getting hand-walked through the process. We are silver, and the left border of the paper was silver-toned.

I feel so accepted now.

I am sorry to report that despite getting an email confirmation that the PG brochure I requested is in the mail on 1/18, it still has not arrived. Should I give up?

My letter also arrived today. All information was correct. I was a little surprised that they either didn't know the correct etiquette to put my first name on the envelope or that to help defray the costs of all that fancy paper, they are saving ink by not typing 5 little letters. B-E-T-T-Y

I hope this means I will also begin to receive the brochures.

Betty, I'm so glad that you have heard from RSSC. I will be quite suprised if I ever receive this long awaited letter. I think we should be given bonus days for the amount of days we have been made to wait. :woh: Don't you agree....

Well, my letter was in the mailbox today. All cruises are listed correctly. My favorite line in the letter is "We will continue to innovate our program to ensure that your experience is as unique and personalized as possible." Nice to know that changes in benefits may be on the way. Sometime.

No letter for me. However, we did recieve a letter today, addressed to both my husband and me, pertaining to "Diamond Reunion Cruise," which I wrote about on another thread.

Hi Denise, I didn't get the Diamond Reunion letter. When I was on SSS, Janet mentioned we would be getting a SOF reunion letter, but I never did get that one. I think they were going to christen the Voyager Observation Lounge and rename it the Song of Flower Lounge. It was renamed and much of the SOF memorabilia was placed on the Voyager. It was good to see it this summer. Brought back old times.

Were the Diamond momentos placed on the Navigator?

Received by snailmail today the Baltic specials, which most of you received how many weeks ago?? (Been there, done that)

There is a number at the top of the "M/M, address;" do I assume that's our SSS #?

Got our letter finally! Got the Diamond special and a lovely booklet for the world cruise. To only be able to have 122 days to spend on vacation!!!! I can dream...

I spoke with Rose yesterday. She returned my call after about a one hour wait.

She explained that since our home address has 2 names with different last names, the main person went out first. (By the way, when we filled out some form, we did something to put Ted's name first. They did not decide males first, females second.) My letter is due to come out in the "second mailing" which was supposed to be this week but is running late (no special paper???).

She reviewed my nights and all is well. If I don't get a letter in another month or so, I'll call again but I feel better now.

Still don't know why some mailings come to Ted, some to me, and we rarely get duplicates anymore.

We have not received a letter yet so I called this AM. The individual I spoke with said, "Your mailing should be out shortly." I said I wanted to make sure everyting was in order prior to our upcoming 9 June cruise. She said she'd take a quick look at our records and see how many days they had credited to us. Well, at the risk of suffering a self inflicted wound, RSSC shows Gretchen and I both with more days than I think we have.

They have credited us with days for a cruise that we had booked and they cancelled. Could that be the case with your extra days?

That might account for 5 of the days. If that's the case, and IF they counted the cruise currently booked then the days work out, but I think that's unlikely. I'll just have to wait and see my letter.

I finally received my letter in today's mail. Or, so I thought. The envelope was addressed to me; however, when I looked inside the letter and cruise summary was addressed to Mrs. Betty Shills, who lives in North Carolina! BTW, Betty Shills, if you're reading this, you have 146 nights!

Back to the drawing board! I'll call Rose on Monday.

RSSC also sent us Eurostyle magazine.

Denise that is really funny. At least you know they have your address. We still are batting a big fat zero, no letter, no Eurostyle, no nothing and we leave a week from today to meet the Voyager in Hong Kong. I guess I'll wait until we return to call Rose, not that it will do any good.

You are so funny, Denise! :D :D Poor Doris lives in FL and hasn't gotten her letter yet. She is the closest to FLL of any of us late letter getters. Makes you wonder about snail mail these days.

Denise, I did meet Rose aboard the Voyager last year and she was very nice. She told us a certain class suite would not be a problem for this upcomming trip so we gave a deposit with the promise that our TA would get the cabin number when we returned. Well that did not happen, and we have been at odds with Radisson for a year now, and we are leaving this week and not in the type cabin we wanted. This I do not think was Roses' fault, I think the head office gave her the wrong info when we were in her office. All of this is leading up to the reason I'm not suprised that our letter has not arrived. They certainly know our name in that office as our TA has called every week to check on suite availability.

Sorry to hear of your difficulties, Doris. It's unfortunate that what was promised by one, cannot be granted by another (if this is the case). Such situations are not exclusive to Radisson, as we all know. In the corporate world so many of us are accountable to someone of higher authority. However, it certainly is a great disappointment.

I'm sure your TA is working hard to resolve this issue to your complete satisfaction, if it's at all possible. I do hope that there is satisifactory resolution for you.

Hmm-we haven't received our letter yet either. We have been gone for a month and since some people were receiving their letters before we left, I just figured it would be in the mail when we got back. Nope. It seems that people are still getting the letters--should I continue to wait or should I get on the phone to Radisson? We do occasionally get other snailmail from them, but nothing recently. I get frequent emails from them, however.

Peggy, I would call Rose at RSSC tomorrow. She will itemize your cruises with number of nights over the phone. You will eventually get your letter. Mine came after three weeks, though it seemed live six. You will find Rose to be very nice.
