I was reading about Visa requirements for the countries being visited on Dragon, and it seems no Visa is needed for any of the countries EXCEPT VIETNAM.
It wasn't clear if one is needed, so I contacted the Embassy. They told me that I would need to obtain a Visa to get off the ship. Cost is $110.

Does anyone know definitively if that is correct? I presume this is not something Regent handles.

NOTHING NEEDS TO BE DONE THIS IS HANDLED BY REGENT. THIS IS DIRECTLY FROM OUR BK WEB AND COVERS THE BLANKET VISA FOR THE SHIP.

BLANKET VISAS

The following countries require visas, but are taken care of directly by RSSC through a ship's blanket visa:

Egypt, Indonesia, Jordan, Myanmar, Oman, Tanzania and Vietnam

Again, no action is required from our guests for these blanket visas unless they are changing the embark/disembark date or port.

Thanks - I hoped that was the case.
