Darn! We missed it, too. If we are too busy to watch, we will sometimes load the site on one of our computers just to hear the sounds. (Which are inCREDIBLE!)

When I first signed on today, the camera was really close like this and followed the lion. Then it panned back and has stayed like that.

Since about 3 today, I have seen close up (night shot) 1 male lion (drinking, walking,sleeping), far away either a leopard or female lion drinking, monkeys playing in trees pretty far away(early am), and zebras and some birds (day shots) very close up, a giraffe, some type of gazelle and I can hear people talking. The camera seems to focus in on the animals. THe longer they stay there, the closer the camera gets. Mitch..very cool site. Thanks. I'm addicted.

If you click on the AfriCam forum, you will find a link for "How To's and Useful Links" that explains how to take pictures using the web cam. You have to download some software and then upload yoour pictures to the forum. Just think how much fun we will have seeing this in person on ROAR2.
