I just read on Cruise Critic that Regent will debut on March 7th complete with a new website on March 8th. Here is the address but it just takes you to the old RSSC website for now.

http://www.theregentexperience.com/

You can read the rest of the post at the bottom of this message at CC.

Yes, finally it is going to happen. They are going to do things to upscale the ships more, some are already planned, the new mattresses and linens are an example. I think letters have already started going out to their mailing list (yet another mailing lets see how much this one is fixed after the tier program mailing).

We had a flat screen TV in the Navigator Suite; it covered 1)the ONLY 110v outlet in the room, and 2) the light switch for the balcony. There are some places you need to stick with what fits better.

LOL, I think we need to virtually award the first LCT member who gets their letter with these lovely mailman/mailbox salt and pepper shakers!

Oh Karen! I want it!! But no chance of me winning it, I still haven't gotten the first mailing! :(

But my DH Bob got his mailing really early. Would he qualify or does he has to register in LCT to qualify :D ?

Karen - A perfect gift.

We tried to introduce the poster over there to LCT, but, they never responded to me. And they are on WAVE with us.

As for awarding for first receipts of letters, well mail arrives quicker in the East since they are 3 hours ahead of us. So we West Coasters definitely are at a disadvantage for that win

Maria, Do you mean that Bob already got his Society letter or did he get this new letter that discusses the name change?

I think the rule should be, any LCT member or their spouse can win the salt and pepper shakers since we have no idea how Radisson comes up with choosing which spouse gets to be addressed!

Karen,

He got his society letter right at the beginning(no name change letter yet). I've never gottten mine.

This is what I get for not checking in earlier in the day! We actually got our letter today about the name change. :app:

Of course, I didn't receive the Society package until earlier this week. I just didn't think I was going to get it.

well that's what I get I NEVER check the mail. It is probably out there now. David loves the mail, I hate it, so it waits for him. He can be gone for 2 weeks and is wild eyed to get that mail. I just glare at him when he is looking through it, I am amazed that anyone cares that much. He is gone for 9 days this time so I guess I have to get out there, this is something I want!!

Cindy,

That's funny. My DH is the same!!! Everyday, like a ritual, he gets to the house, gets the mail, comes in and barely says "Hi" while he's going through the "interesting" mail. LOL!!

I don't take it out of the mailbox during the day, I don't want to deprive him from this "thrill". :D

Congrats on the great shakers, Andrea!

Yet another mailing to anticipate and, hopefully, receive. Seems like we just got over the excitement of the tier program mailing!

The waiters on the Voyager were sporting new purple shirts - as opposed to teal/turquoise ones - on deck at the BBQ a couple of nights ago so I guess it's started . . . that's all I've seen so far.

Maria,

I think a special award is in order for you if you receive both letters on the same day! And, think of how happy your husband will be with that mail! ;)

Keep the faith! Your letters are out there somewhere in USPSland!

The letter arrived in the mornings mail. Just an announcement of the new name, Regent Seven Seas and talks about the changing process to take up to 18 months. There is a mention of a program called "Circles of Interest" that allows guests to indulge their own preferences and passions.(Whatever that means.)

cheer

I guess the color schema of the page needs to be changed as well? confused I personally like the "sea" colors better. Oh well...

The funny thing is that I have to watch over his shoulder as he's sorting the mail. A couple of times he tossed away as "junk" Radisson stuff and I had to rescue it from the garbage can!

This is funny... We (make that "I") got the Regent letter today. I think I was the first person on the board to get the Society letter, on January 3rd or 4th. Well, also today, the SSS letter came for my GF --- the mail junkie of the household. We'd given up on that one thinking she may have told them at some point not to send her any mailings. (Oh, the number of nights was correct.)

I'm not looking forward to the Regent purple either. Just not a cruise color. Maybe they'll make it work somehow.

Do I get a consolation prize for getting 2 letters on the same day? ;)

Today I got the "long awaited" membership statement with my nights(DH had gotten his eons ago) PLUS the letter announcing "The Regent Experience" ( the latter addressed to DH, probably mine will arrive in 2 months!). Bob is traveling so I had the "excitement" of opening his :D !

Ours are now addressed to "Mr and Mrs".

Claudia, from Radisson, "signed" Mark Conroy.
