Outstanding! Anne's victory yay was terrific. Also, the last pic on p. 3--I'm sorry I don't recognize that beautiful woman with the reddish hair--the way she looked out with wonder, her eyes so happy, was unbelievable!

EVERY single time, Ken. WOW. These are storybook. I'm the last one to do cold weather but your pics are such that I might be talked into one of these cruises!

Her name is Jan and she has been on a lot of cruises with us but not active on LCT. Good friends with Marcie, Tom, Jim and Pat they have been on trivia teams together. She is a really nice person and has a wonderful serene presence that was captured in that picture. She always looks wonderful too, some people always wear the right thing at the right time and look great she is one of those. Not that you can tell that from her red parka outfit that we all had on for landings.

Hi Marcie, to answer your question about Chef David jumping into the frigid water, he did it just because its a novelty and there are bragging rights involved. He normally is on the other Silversea ships, Anne & Gary knew him from the Whisper.
The "Arctic Plunge" was offered by the ship and it was amazing how many people jumped into the freezing water. One lady from Switzerland jumped in, climbed back into the zodiac and then jumped in again. Don't they do this in Southern California?
