We had a great time but the Gem was just a tad to big for me. The specialty restaurants were great but the free ones were just okay. My 18 year old niece had a ball and that was this cruise was all about so the Gem worked great for my niece.
Debbie we stayed at the Hotel 1898, loved it. Great location and the room were really nice for a European hotel.

Back on the NCL Gem Saturday - Venice to Venice - Greek Isles cruise including Split Croatia. I tried and tried to find something on Silversea ans Seabourn and the timing was off. Mike's Sister and Brother in Law are joining us. We have 2 days in Venice (never been and very excited) before, then the cruise, then 2 nights in Florence and one more in Venice. A two week vacation! I have never taken a two week vacation.

Glad you had a great time, Todd! Venice and Florence two of my favorite European cities. Bet you loved Santorini as well!
