At both lunch and dinner, the wine stewards will offer a choice of white or red......basically a wine of the day. It took a few days before we realised that you could ask for a different one - from then on we always asked for the New Zealand sauvignon blanc - which was excellent quality. Of course that meant that we had a bottle between the two of us, but these sacrifices have to be made!
Over the 10 days, our various lunch and dinner companions all had their preferred wines - and all were accomodated!
I can't comment on the wine selection in the $150 per head restaurant - i think you need to be a connaisseur of fine red wines to get enjoyment from the experience....our expertise comes in a martini glass.....
