Sailing on Whisper on a T/A in September. I saw in a review that dinner begins service at 7:30 which seemed late. Called Silversea and the agent told me 6:30, but now I get confirmation from another passenger that it is 7:30. Is it different for crossings? Anyone been recently?

Just checked my daily chronicles for the Spirit T/A in Jan of this year. The Restaurant is 1900 and Le Champagne, as well as Sieshin is 1930. I would imagine that Whisper would be the same.

Tyler; We never go to dinner before 1930-2000, so all I can do is tell you what the daily chronicles for Silver Spirit say. For our trip on Shadow I really don't remember what the times were. However, on the CC board there seems to be some variety of opinion on the issue. A lot say that Wind, Cloud, Shadow and Whisper are 1930 for the Restaurant. I'm sure your dad will adapt and enjoy and I really don't think 1/2 an hour will make much difference for him what with the socializing and all. If he's really tired you can always get him room service. They serve the food course by course and they do a very good job.
