Well we are booked on Oceania Regatta for Feb 26, 10 night Caribbean. Excited to try them - I have clients who love Oceania, so decided we should give them a try. Decided to do a PH and found an itinerary with some ports we haven't been to, so thats fun too.

Jan - I don't know how you do it - if I guess right you are an agent, but you do more cruises than anyone I can think of - Oceania has only been up and running what 3-1/2 years at most and you are already on your 11th, with the 12th and 13th booked???!!! WOW! I'm impressed. Do you guys just live on a cruise ship or what??? :D :D :p

Dena, I sailed on the Regatta June of this year to the Baltics and it was a wonderful trip. I hope you will enjoy it as much as my husband and I did. I posted a review on this site upon my return in June if you have an interest.

Thanks Susan - I had read your review previously and appreciated your perspective. It was one of many factors that encouraged us to decide on this trip.

Hi Joanne, I am lucky to have been part of the startup of Oceania..and in the past year since Stu was sick my daughters have basically taken over the business for me..after 35 years selling cruises..I am really enjoying every one I am going on. OK..Joannapv..your turn to say something about B and K.. Jan

JoAnn - we're waitlisted on the 3/16/06 Nautica sailing from Beijing to Hong Kong. Love the itinerary - 14 nights visiting Beijing, Shanghai, South Korea, Japan (Hiroshima, Kobe), and Taipei - ending up in Hong Kong. Also love the timing - can't cruise late in the year since we're already doing MUSH and RSSC Mariner is doing its Tokyo - Hong Kong itinerary in October.
Thanks for the offer, Jan!

Good luck Masaki - sure hope you clear the waitlist.
Jan - how great that you've been able to cruise so much and your daughter's have been able to take over for you and make it so much easier - I hope you just keep on cruising and crusing. How interesting that you've been part of the start up with Oceania, that must have been quite an experience.

Oceania has been very good about clearing waitlists. As you know it just depends how many others are waitlisted too. Best of luck.

Well, we cleared wait list for the B guarantee. Now we just need to get another cabin for Amanda's folks. Thanks for all the good wishes! Claudia - thanks for the offer of the OS (if you still had it) but doubt we would have been able to afford it anyway. ;)

Hi Masaki, I am sure they will clear also..
Yes Claudia..being away from the ocean is going to be hard..but cruising a lot will make up for it..IN fact, I just booked Hong Kong to Hong Kong in 2007..(Im an optimist) which is Oceania cruise number 14.. Jan

Well, bad news strikes. Amanda's parents have informed us that they've reviewed their finances and aren't sure that they can swing the cost of the cruise. Because of this, since the original purpose of the trip was to visit China/Hong Kong/Japan with Amanda's folks, there's no sense in just us going so we're going to have to cancel. :( Now I'm going through cruise withdrawals again. (sigh)
