I had read a comment from a cruiser that the "R" ships really tended to "Rock & Roll" due to their 19.5' draft. Their bad experience was a TA crossing which is understandable, but what is the general feeling on the stability of these ships. Do you think they rock more than other lines - Radisson has only 21' & 23' drafts while the larger ships tend to be 25' plus. We are thinking of a Eastern Med cruise next year and do have problems with seasickness. Would appreciate the experiences of others. Thanks --
Jan

While we were in some protected waters during our Baltic cruise early in the summer, we were on open seas during some windy and not so placid conditions and I didn't notice any major movement. All of the Oceania ships have stablizers and the only time I noticed any movement was in the rear dining room one evening when we were leaving port However, I am sure you know that if you are concerned about motion sickness you should make sure and have a midship cabin on a lower deck.
