Thank God, it's been raining all day! This is the first appreciable rain we have had in such a long time. We need this and more to help keep the brush fires at bay, not to mention, for our parched lawns, and landscape. It's a slow steady rain. Perfect! Betty

We have now had two half days of rain, and all the fires in this area are out. :banana: :banana: All the rain dancing by LCT really worked, and all is well in South Florida, Thanks :)

It sure is raining here!! :app: Only problem is my little doggie is horrified by thunder and lightening. He's convinced that the boogie man is coming and he insists that I seek safety with him in the dark bathroom. Don't ask. :rolleyes:

Glad Southern & Central Florida is getting much-needed rain.

It's horrible north of the city. Some of the major routes are closed and people can't get into work. Luckily, the sun finally came out around 6:00 tonight. I think the worst is over!

We too are in a weather "funk" here up in Minnesota. We have had at least a week of no sun until yesterday when we looked outside and the sky had finally broken open with some rays. I haven't seen the sun for so long that I had turned on my computer and even my picture of Nevis seemed to have overcast skies because my eyes are getting funny. I might be turning into a vampire!
Andrea, I hope the worst really is over for you and things are drying out. Send an SOS if you need a boat and we'll come and get you!
