Andrea has been training so hard and so long for the Nike Marathon in San Fransisco tomorrow. She is a true inspiration for all of us. I wish her all the best - and cross that finish line girl! Go Andrea.

WOW!!! Thank you all SO MUCH for your well wishes. I am completely overwhelmed!! I am so happy to tell you, that even though it took me FOREVER (or 7:11:20) I CROSSED THAT FINISH LINE!!! It was much more difficult than I could have ever imagined. I'm going to have to tell my Team in Training coaches that for those running Nike next year they really need to do the 20 miler with some hills. Running along the flat Charles River in Boston doesn't prepare one for the hillage of San Francisco! I'm working on a race report for my blog, which I will post here once I'm finished, but the major reason that I was able to finish is that my blog buddy Stacey, who I've only met in person once back in April when I ran my first 10K, met me at mile 16 and did the rest of the race with me. I do not know how I'm ever going to thank her.
