A very exciting game last night proved that our Miami Heat has what it takes to go all the way. We are avid Heat fans and have been celebrating since the last ball swished through the net last night. They have been partying all night here with no problems, we are very proud of our fellow Miamians (sp?) Looking for a Suns Heat showdown.....

Doris, Congrats on the Heat win!! The play offs have been way exciting! Dwyane Wade is phenomenal and Shaq has really stepped up his game. Good luck in the finals!!! Betty

Hi Doris -- As you can see, I'm from Dallas and I'm also a big Mavs fan, so I HOPE we are battling it out with your Heat in the finals! :D

Go Heat! Shaq was phenomenal. I hope that Wade gets over the flu by Thursday. The Heat were 0-2 against both the Mavs and the Suns, but then they had losing records against the Nets and Pistons also.

YEA MAVS! It wasn't pretty last night, but at least they got it done. Betty, we will be "friendly rivals" for the next couple of weeks! It should be an interesting series; honestly I don't know quite what to expect. Such different styles, as far as I know. I haven't watched the Heat too much this year.
Vickie, I love the Suns except when they play the Mavericks. Steve Nash is so much fun to watch and such a good guy. We were sick when Dallas let him get away. The Suns will be back, that's for sure!
Editing to add that it's kind of neat the relationship that Dirk and Steve keep up. Even during the Mavs-Suns series, they had dinner together on the off nights, which apparently they always do when they are in the same city. But when they step on the court at game time, both are unbelievable competitors. No mercy for each other then!

Yea Heat! The parade is on Friday. Shaq came through with his promise of a championship!! D Wade is in the last year of his three year rookie contract; I wonder how much his new contract will be for? Maybe he'll take over the profits from owner Ariston's cruise line!! Judith

Just announced, Parade is on Friday, down Biscayne Boulevard to the arena at 2P.M. They are going to televise the entire event. We will be watching. Zoe really desirves this win!!!!
