Let me start off by saying.....IT WAS AMAZING! Fire away with your questions as I know some of you are leaving in less than one month.
We arrived in Copenhagen Friday morning and clearing customs was a breeze. We got a cab to the Marriott Copenhagen and had our bags stored before noon. We got on the sightseeing tour that lasted about 3 hours and that was just perfect (after the long flight). We walked around and got back to the hotel around 5pm. We took a 3 hour nap and got dressed to go to the Tivoli. After touring the Tivoli and eating dinner at a charming Italian place we walked back (it was still light out at 11pm) to the hotel. Overall, we felt very safe and enjoyed seeing the sights. The next day we walked into town, had our traditional danish and went for the canal tour at Nyhaven. I really enjoyed seeing the town from the water and got the first glimpse of the Voyager. We walked back and took another cab to the ship (under 50 dollars for all four of us). This was considerably less than Radisson charged as I think there fee was almost 50 per person.
Overall we really enjoyed Copenhagen but after talking to locals --- we could never live there. There income tax is 51% and tax to have a car is 200% on top of the price of the car...no wonder everyone rode bikes :)
