Since I am the person who almost hijacked the Introductions topic, I decided we needed a separate topic for this item.

I was tunafish. Now you have to try to figure out why.

The nickname Zany comes from Suzanne...not hard to figure that out if you know me.

I know what Olivia's nickname was/is but promised to dummy up. :D

I was called Squeeky. I never knew why but a few of the guys called me that. I sensed it was something that to do with some immaturity on their part. I had a bunch of guys that I was friends with.

As I posted previously, I was "Brillo Pad" or just "Brillo". What got to be too much was when people would rub my head for good luck or to see how much static electricity they could generate.

This one isn't hard to figure out, either. I was called Sprout.

On MUSH - Brillo meets up with the Tunafish. Lawrence, maybe we could do a Brillo & the Fish act. Sort of a Benny & the Jets ditty. Never mind.

Ms Underwood - What a doll you must be. Starkist would have been delightful to hear and/or have as a name.

Most small children have trouble with the V in Vickie & so it usually comes out as Bickie. My young niece also had a problem with "ck" sounds and so I became Bippie (remember the tv show "Laugh In"?) Friends in school heard her call me that & so it stuck. Thankfully, in my jr year I moved to AZ and that name was never to be repeated until now.

They called me "curly" or "egghead". Frizzy headed girls who were smart weren't a part of the "in" crowd at my high school.

I was just called Arl. and Donna, artists weren't in the "in" crowd either.

My class didn't have an in crowd. There was no crowd unless they were protesting. If they weren't protesting, they were at the beach or they were stoned somewhere. Our prom was canceled for lack of interest. There were over 1000 in my graduating class. Only 1/2 showed up for the ceremony and a bunch of them were smoking or drinking under their gowns.

My class was broken down into the Jive & the Conservatives. Jive wore white socks, conservative black. No one knew where I fit, since I did both.

Had several nicknames.
Scotch. Three. Cherry Coke. And Six Meter beam.

Surprisingly, with a last name of Weiner, no one called me Hot Dog or Weenie.

Two nicknames for me - Den and Niecie. My Dad called me Niecie and I preferred (and actually still do) that no one else call me that except him.

We had groups in our high school. To those who know me, it will come as no surprise that I was a part of the hippie/protesters/artsy group. We were the free thinkers of the 60's.
