Thanks Karen; frankly, I don't like like any of them as people, but that's not the point, I know!

I agree, I am not sure I would want to cruise with any of them but I thought the blondes played a very savvy game and Mirna and Charla with just too odd and added some very humorous moments!!!

Of the final three, I'm rooting for the blondes because they do play the game well and they don't bicker! Although in the previews of the next show, it looks like they might lose patience with each other...

I am not sure who I want to win...I don't really care for any of the remaining teams, but I will watch it! :)

Mirna and Charla get on my nerves (with their whining) so I'm rooting for anyone but them.

I agree with Peggy! We honestly almost didn't watch this season when we found out Charla & Mirna were returning.

I would like to see the blondes win I think because they do not bicker. The other remaining teams can really get on my nerves.I have been watching NBA games and baseball at the same time as watching the few other programs that I like to watch. I don't like to watch the same day but I sure don't enjoy the programs as much when I keep changing stations.FR THE MOST PART Marty and I do not watch TV together. He enjoys the History channel and the Discovery Channel.

Marc found an interesting interview with Phil, the host of Amazing Race. Thought I would share it for those of you who haven't seen it. http://tv.ign.com/articles/765/765692p1.html

Arlene, that was very interesting! I had NO idea how grueling Phil's schedule was!
Bette, the blondes appear to have a huge blowout in tonight's season finale!
Editing to add, I forgot to ask Arlene and Marc if they are getting American TV?

Karen, Yes we do... but it took a lot of work. Marc wrote a blog entry about it if you are interested: http://www.travelblog.org/Asia/Japan/Tokyo/blog-120952.html We still don't get a lot of american TV but we get things like Dr Phil, Oprah, Amaxing Race, survivor, Grey's Anaotomy, etc. Marc has a really rough time watching sports now because if you want to see it live it is usually on in the middle of the night here. For expample, he had to get up this morning at 5:30 AM to watch the derby live. I keep telling him not to complain as he at least gets to see it live. My Grey's Anatomy is way behind here. I am still watching episodes I saw in the states, (George's Dad hasn't died yet for expample) and we just now finished watching the amazing race all stars episode where they were in Polond and Aushwitz. Oh well, at least we get it!!

Okay- the west coast should have watched it now.
Did not like the ending. My question is at the bank- 2 teams didn't get the safe open- why were they allowed to leave to the park to run for placement? The way it was edited- you were waiting for something else at the bank.
The bank seemed to be similar to Survivor.
Was hoping that the 2nd place would have won.

Jan, at the bank, you had 10 minutes to solve the combination. If you solved it faster than ten minutes, you could go, if not, you had to wait the entire 10 minutes.
I felt that Mirna and Charla gave up at the end.

I missed the first 20 minutes last night and was sure hoping I didn't miss the little spat between the beauty queens. My, my they got a bit hot under the collar after the kayak incident in Hawaii!
The end really wasn't as thrilling as what I was hoping for, but I was happy for Eric and Danielle.
Rob and Amber sure looked like fakes, in my opinion, as they congratulated the winning teams. I can imagine they were thinking "this should have been us as we are the BEST and just had a tough break that one time".

I felt as though the ending was very weak - but I was happy for the winners - the beauty queens were always so smug - it's hard to cheer for someone who feels so entitled - guess I'm a sucker for the underdog and Eric and Danielle were often that!

Margo, Mark said the same exact thing, that he was happy for Eric and Danielle as they were always being picked on. I just wish that they were a little nicer to each other!

Karen - you are right - he often was very harsh with her but she seemed to stand her ground better as the race went on.
I can't imagine racing with my husband - well there are obvious reasons, but besides that, patience must really be a virtue in those situations

I thought the bank challenge was interesting and initially thought that the BQs would know each other best and get into the lead, so it was surprising that Danielle was the only one to solve it. With the potential for traffic problems it could have been won by any of them with a little luck.

I tape Regis and Kelly each day- got started with that when my sister was living in NY. It has been a long time.
Okay the winners were on. They are NO longer a couple and that month they were together they said forget it. Not sure if they won any of the trips but they both have new boyfriend/girlfriend and they came on at the end of the show. interesting.
