Interesting article Andrea - aren't Rob & Amber just a little bit overexposed? Colin & Christie? Ugh! I've missed most of this season, but if the Kentucky couple were elminated already, how does that qualify them for all-star status? Thankfully no Jonathon and Victoria.

I think Team Kentucky developed a fan base because they were SO small-town and undereducated. Jonathan and Victoria have a new baby daughter, so that may have kept them from competing IF they were contacted.
I do wish Chip and Kim, and Uchenna and (Joyce?) could compete again. They had such class, and they got so much joy out of the places they went.
I'll probably half-watch it; I have such a narrow base of shows that I like.

Oh I think it's great news! I have many favorite teams from past seasons that I would love to see in the race. Thanks for the heads up, Andrea. Now I will have to seach the forums to see who else has been picked! Editing to add, here is the scoop at my favorite Amazing Race forum

I love the "Race" but Rob and Amber turn me off - do't know if I'll be as interested watching his antics again!

Eric Sanchez & Danielle Turner

I don't either Karen! I think they were part of separate teams before but now they are together. Looks like the page is up at cbs.com - I sort of remember them now: Eric and Danielle

Karen - LOL!! I think he has less hair now...she's the one I don't really remember. More Hair in Season 9! Obviously the hippies invested well - they don't need the mil.

I am glad John Vito and Jill got eliminated as I don't remember them from past seasons, lol. Who else found Kevin and Drew to be annoying? I was never a big fan of them the first time around, though.
I think so far I am rooting for blondes and Mary and Dave (even though Mary lied last night!!). I hope they are as resourceful as they were last season. I also like Amber and Rob, they really are good at the race.

Karen I am with you on John Vito and Jill. Drew was so dramatic after he fell in the road. Rob and Amber are very resourceful, but I am not sure if I want them to win. I would like to see Dave and Mary or Uchenna and Joyce win, I think! I can still remember how Uchenna cut all her hair off and that really took a lot of courage in my opinion. I was sad to hear they are unable to conceive and they are hoping the race will bring them closer together.

Just caught up with the last 2 episodes - it was fun seeing them in Chile, in the Atacama Desert, where were last fall. A couple we met on the trip went to see that big copper mine as a way to kill some time before a late afternoon flight. A highlight for us was the hike we took in the Valley of the Moon.

Leslie, did you see when they were in Puerto Montt and they stopped in a restaurant to ask for directions? I am pretty sure that that was the restaurant where we stalking Oliva during our "famous" webcam stalk.

Karen - is anyone watching besides you and me?
So glad you know who was elminintated - actually it was very surprising at this stage of the game - they were gracious though. Their downfall was his stubborness - they should have moved on to the other roadblock.

Yep - Mirna and Charla are annoying, but it was great to see them beat R&A, especially after they stole the cab & tried to throw them off - it must have been by a narrow margin - it looked like they were pretty close to them on the last run. It was sweet of Uchenna to give Charla the last helping hand onto the finish line. I was surprised it wasn't a non-elimination round. Probably not the last we'll see of Rob & Amber...

I watch too!
So very pleased with last night's outcome, BUT, I wanted them to lose to Joyce and Uchenna in the final moment. This was unexpected.
What was with Mirna and Charla? Whine, whine whine...

Did you see next weeks previews with Charla in a suit of armor??

They drive me bonkers too but they surely do provide amusement as well! Watching them is like driving by an accident, you can't help but look!
I think at this point, I am cheering for Joyce and Uchenna and the blondes. I admire both of these teams as they never bicker and they just get the job done! Oswald and Danny are too laid back for me, I wish they would be a little more serious about winning.

The blondes are getting ruthless. I couldn't believe they were able to talk the travel agent into hanging up on Uchenna. The suit of armor sequence made me laugh out loud at the TV.
