We are considering taking the Diamond's fall 2005 crossing. The cruise is scheduled to leave Barcelona at 6:00 p.m. Would RSSC bring us into Barcelona on the morning of our cruise? If so, what would they do with us from the time of our early morning arrival until time to board the ship? Any chance of coming in the day before?

Go look at the 21 Nov 2004 schedule for Voyager. Under shore excursions for Barcelona, there is a description of precruise tours etc.

If I remember correctly, if they bring you day of, they will provide hospitality room and luggage porterage. There also are tours if enough interested.

If you want to fly in and pay for Radisson provided hotel, there is no deviation fee and you get transfers airport to hotel and hotel to ship. If you want to come in day before and NOT stay at Radisson provided hotel, there is a $100 deviation fee and you don't get transfers.

We are doing air on our own and flying in day before. Price came out a little higher than Radisson for air but I was able to upgrade and am using points for hotel.
