Being of the appropriate age, I have heard a lot about Route 66 and was wondering if anyone has done it and if so, is it worthwhile. I've heard it takes about two weeks. I might add this is my husband's idea - I'd rather cruise! Any information would be gratefully received. Lee

All I know Matey is "You get your kicks on Route 66" :D I traveled that route in the late 60's so don't remember a thing. Something about the 60's that blurs my memory ;) ;)

Suzie - I thought it was about time I got 'some kicks'. I really didn't expect anyone to have actually done it. Bit like asking me if I've driven across Australia!
