My name is Sandra, and I too, am a lurker. Finallt registered a couple of days ago, but took me this long to go through all 21 pages of intros. Very diverse group but with many things in common besides cruising.
Well, for my intro.
We are from South Dakota. I just turned 50, and on the other end of robbing the cradle( DH ,Joe is 47) Joe owns a family construction company. (Mother and Father started it 50 plus years ago)
I am retired from Residental Property Mgmt and also former Realtor. I am self educated,( was married first at 19)Joe former CPA with Arthur Anderson years ago before all the mess and back in family business for 22 years. We have been together 20 years, but only married 6yrs. Long story. We have two human children, I have a 29 yr old son and Joe has a 22 yr old daughter. We have 4 grandchildren via son. We also have 2 canine children, both Labradors, Blue 6 and Diamond, Blues son, 1 1/2. Both Spoiled more than the human children.
This is getting long-winded so will finish Booked on Mariner June 7 to Alaska. 1 previous cruise on Rccl. Love to travel. Arizonia(all) and Fort Lauderdale 2 of my favorite places.
Regret that I did not know of Ngaire before this cruise was booked. Next time, wiil be wiser. hve learned so much from LCT.

Welcome to LCT! Thanks for the intro. Yes, you will find we all have a lot in common here. My DH is a CPA too. I do some property management as I do bookkeeping and business management as well. 2nd marriage with 2 canine kids, both very spoiled.
Having sailed the Mariner in AK in 2001, and having been on RCCL several times, I will tell you, it will be hard to go back to a mass market ship after your Regent spoiling!

Have been to Sioux City many times when I lived in Nebraska and have some relatives living there now.
Sioux City also has that famous fire department that saved the lives of many people that were passengers on a large jet that had to make an emergency landing there some years ago. What a story that made!
People here like to have their brains picked regarding cruising issues, what laptop or cellphone to buy, etc. etc. etc. so hop on board and have some fun.

Hello all Just joined the forum and have been searching through some really useful posts on the Navigator. We have booked a Baltic cruise (Stockholm to Copenhagen) on 15th July this year - I never thought we'd afford this level of cruising but we got a great 2 for 1 deal and free flights. Really looking forward to it - as our only previous cruises (which we thoroughly enjoyed!)are NCL Hawaii (Pride of Aloha) and the now defunct Uk Sun Cruises Just wanted to say Hi!
