Good question about the soft drinks. Actually, you receive as many soft drinks as you want in your refridge in your cabin. The stewardess refills the supply daily. The soft drinks on the rest of the ship is like the Radisson. You order a soft drink at the pool, for dinner or lunch, in the Saloon or in the entertainment venue. The soft drink is brought to you ( as a hard drink would be) but there is no bill. There are no soft drinks left in bowls of ice in the lounges. How do the servers of the soft drinks get "tipped" you ask? I guess they must be compensated in some other way. The only check which one receives is if you order a hard drink, a beer of a glass of vino.
You do not need any cash for any tipping anywhere on the ship. At the end of the cruise you can prepay all of your tips at the reception and they give you a chit which you give to the waiter, ass't waiter, stewardess, etc. We gave cash our traveling companions put all tips on their Crystal account.
