Marty, you are exactly right. Aunt Ruth believes promptness is a sign of respect and she re-educated Paul59 on that basic element of etiquette.

I shared this thread with Paul59, and he laughed, "Beware the wrath of Ruth!!" But he remembers the incident, and Aunt Ruth, with great fondness.
