Greg, interesting. I certainly did not know that!

So far we are undecided about this stop. Some of my ancestors are from Normandy, so I'm thinking that we will stay around Honfleur--after all, it's where Champlain sailed from, and Champlain paddled past my cottage on the Ottawa river some time later, so it will make a nice connection.
