Marcie, I've read reviews about the beach snorkel on other sites and they're not great. They have you snorkeling in the pier area, not off one of the nice beaches further away, which means you don't see as much coral and marine life. I have snorkeled there before, and the big "attraction" used to be a small plane on the bottom of the ocean (not sure how it got there!). However, that was years ago, and I'm pretty sure all the hurricanes have torn it up by now. If you want to get some really good snorkeling in, you'll probably have to do an independent tour. The folks at Regent couldn't tell me if there was snorkeling available at the beach we go to for the ATV and Beach Adventure tour...we're just going to take our gear and hope for the best (assuming we even bother getting off the ship!!).

Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.
