I don't know if you are going to Venice. If you are, don't buy anything in Murano to be shipped to the US. A friend of mine bought a very expensive vase and had it shipped. When she got it, it was different from the one she bought! She tried and tried to return it , but there was so many complications with customs that she gave up. She now has a hideous vase for which she paid approx. $2,000.
