I have a write up that I will post here when I get in the office about supplemental insurance IF you dont take the regular insurance. The premiums are pretty cheap on these policies as the odds of this happening are slim. Travelex has this and I am sure many others do too. Most people take insurance to protect against cancellation and getting their money back for the trip. .

The added bonus of AMX Platinum is nice if you have that as you have an AMX Platinum card. Will post the AMX information when I get into the office.

Another good option is MedJet that is paid annually and covers you or your family for a year. They will fly you HOME in a medical jet from anywhere in the world. I cannot remember the cost off hand but it is around $200 annually. If you travel a lot in a year that is a nice thing to have. Remember the odds of this happening are slim so that premium is really pretty good annually considering the cost of flying someone home.
