I know Andi knows Paris really well, but if you haven't been to the Musee de L'Orangerie since it re-opened it is wonderful. It's in the Jardins des Tuileries just across from Place de la Concorde. The first floor has a circular room with eight murals by Monet. Much more downstairs.....For lunch we splurged a few years ago and had AMEX book us in the Eiffel Tower - it was about as special as you can get (and as pricey!) How I wish we could be joining you there!
