Thanks everyone for your great input! As it turns out, we've decided to delay cruising for a while. We'll be doing land only in Italy late March/early April. Booked Alitalia Magnifica class Miami to Rome. After several trips to Asia, involving multiple stops and airlines and way too many hours to get to our destination......this is going to be a real treat!
