Doug, I hope you've looked at
www.insuremytrip.com, they usually have the best rates for insurance there and you can compare various policies. I have the same luck as Betty -- we didn't get insurance for one lousy trip and of course ended up having to cancel it. We always get the insurance now but usually only insure 75% or so. And the older you get, the more expensive it gets, but we figure it's just part of the cost of the trip.
