Even if you’ve been in Venice before you probably don’t know about the origins of the city, how the islands were built, how the buidlings were built, how they once got the drinking water, the timber, how is the sewage system and the like. Also, how the city became so important, how it survived, how it declined. Why many of the buildings look Moorish etc. Which is the present situation of the city and which perspectives for the future.

This tour takes you off the beaten track, normally we use the district of Castello to tell you about the city.

St Mark’s basilica plus intro takes three hours.
Cost will be $210 divided by the number on tour plus admissions. We can have up to 10 but six will move faster into St Mark's (not that big of a deal). Arlene and I are only ones so far but we can figure out if others want to go once we get onboard. Our guide will be Roberta whom others have praised.

See everyone soon!
