Gee Gil....Me too.I am about 1/3 through choosing which photos to use in the blurb book. All told I took around 2000 pics and the editing is tiring work and like most photographers you think each one is a masterpiece.
I had Steve(our son) scan through them and all I heard was "loose it" or "erase it" or "you forgot the rule of 1/3rds". I was happy to hear "thats a keeper" from time to time.

But like you Gil and I imagine all of us who were lucky enough to participate in ROAR2, its the PEOPLE we shared our African adventure with.

Since we could be seing a bit of snow today(but probably not) reviewing the memories are warming ,to say the least.

Say hello to the "Yellow Crested Green Throated Giggler"from the rare black and white "Zebra Bird"...there is a story here about this illusive bird at Madikwee Hills watering hole...It stayed in position long enough for me to shoot it on full zoom...and it stayed there and stayed there for such a long time....it sure did...it was the covering of the light for night illumination of the watering hole....Did I mention I'm Blonde?
