Oh Debbie you loved Navigator...sign up for segment 6 of the Discovery Collection and Todd will be happy because it will be in the Caribbean!

Here are a few of my comments - not complaints by any means:

The size difference from Voyager to Navigator is very noticeable right from the start, BUT we loved Navigator. It really did rock and roll a lot, but that was fun (thanks to Bonine working) and we got a kick out of how the ship would lean so much.

As far as waiting to board that was not real bad and I think everyone was eager to get there early due to it being such a short cruise. I am grateful Regent allows us to board at noon and not charge extra for that. It really starts your cruise off on an great positive to board so early and have lunch and kick back.

Our suite was fantastic - nothing wrong anywhere (Deb I would have called someone about your safe door right away if I were you) and the size is wonderful.

Now on to my favorite; food! All our meals were very good to excellent, but if I were going to take a long cruise (like a month or more) I would prefer more dining choices. However, having said that I feel quite confident we'd be very happy dining at CR every night because of the wonderful selections and service! ;) Portofino's was a lot of fun, but I don't think I'd want to do that more than once or twice for a longer cruise.

The daily activities were just as good as those on Voyager in my opinion (no dance classes but for such a short cruise I didn't expect it).

No egg salad for trivia, :eek: but maybe that was due to a shorter cruise???? On Voyager the daily tea snacks were truly incredible - maybe that was due to it being a crossing???

I liked the set up of the casino being on two sides of the ship even though we don't gamble I thought it was quite unique.

I missed the nice sized atrium (no atrium dance party on Navigator I guess), I missed the coffee corner (later found out it was actually inside a lounge area), I missed the many sauces and toppings for my afternoon ice cream (maybe this was a good way for me to cut back on calories). As you can see these are all very minor and it did not stop us from booking on the lovely ship. :D

We found the staff to be very gracious and friendly as on the other Regent ships. The captain was the most friendly, out and about captains that I've ever seen. He really is a great person and so cheerful.

Meeting so many great LCT friends made it priceless and I can't wait to sail with them again and meet more LCT members! :lct:
