Overcast day in Bora Bora. Little sprinkles of rain with the sun poking through now and then. Bora Bora is really beautiful in sunlight so I hope it improves as the day wears on.
We had to get up at 6.30 am in this morning to clear customs at 7.00 am since we are debarking in Papeete. TOO EARLY. We staggered down to be "approved". I actually came back and laid down again and caught a few more winks.
Then off to Bora Bora where we took the Paul Gauguin tender and went to visit the PG. It is a lovely little ship. Not been on board since PIP and the changes made in the casino area and the La Verandah are wonderful improvements. So that was fun. We stopped with Valerie and Chuck in La Palette and had a coffee.
Then we came back to Bora Bora and walked around a little. It has not changed still the same tiny place with all the Pearl stores. Decided to not do much here today, we have been to Bora Bora many times. We just made this a lazy day.
Back to the Mariner for a GREAT lunch it really hit the spot today. Wonderful beef!
A POOCH game has been requested so the die hard addicts will be pooching at 2.00 pm again. Thought I had played my last pooch game but the ladies have another chance to beat the alpha males.
Cannot believe I have to get off this ship in two days. I am going to be so sad when the ship sails away. I will be waving from the PG deck.
I promise to try to post the winner of the free cruise before I depart the ship. If I dont make it then I know one of the LAMBS will post that.
Tonight the jazz band is NOT playing in Stars so we may have some dancing going on tonight. The jazz group is really sensational but it has put the damper on the dancing activity. As much as I like the dancing it has been such a wonderful relaxing cruise. Dancing creates some REALLY late nights. There is also more conversations after dinner in the Observation Lounge which have also been really enjoyable. It really has allowed us to get to know people better as it is harder to communciate with loud music and dancing. I guess either way is great you cant go wrong!
