Thanks for the thorough review, Susan. I'd like to put you on the spot. In your opinion, how does the food compare with Regent? I would also be very interested if you could share any experiences concerning excursions. My conclusion from much analysis based on numerous threads from several forums (but no first-hand experience) is that although the Oceania itineraries are very enticing, to have a similar experience to Regent, would require booking a Penthouse suite. In general, for many similar cruises that makes the cost very close to Regent's, and Oceania is not all inclusive. Furthermore, Oceania's excursions and travel arrangements seem to generate consistently less positive comments than Regent's. Therefore, it is difficult for me to be seriously tempted to try Oceania. Is my reasoning faulty?
