We're making our annual trip to Mexico. We've done it every year but two since we were married. Turkey tacos and a Margarita are a wonderful thing! :D
Lauri, I thought we were coming to your house for dinner! LOL
We are staying here for turkey day. Our daughter won't make it down for Thanksgiving, but will be here for Christmas, so it will be just us and our son. We are non-traditionalists. Last year, I think we did a prime-rib. This Thursday it is supposed to get up to 79 degrees here in Big D, so it will probably be a good day to be outside, so I was thinking some nice thick juicy T-Bones thrown on the grill and then topped off with a mushroom, shallot, and merlot sauce. Then maybe a side of grilled jumbo asparagus spears drenched in olive oil, lightly seasoned, with just a dab of creamed bleu cheese. Maybe open that bottle of Penny Hill Cabernet/Merlot/Shiraz blend. Then for dessert, low carb cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory...
...or scrap the whole thing and hop on a flight to either Vegas or California, grab a cab to In-N-Out Burger for a Double Double, Fries, and a Chocolate Shake! Then while we are there, we might as well head on over to Trader Joes for some mighty fine Two Buck Chuck!
