I wanted to ask everyone to keep Marc in your thoughts and prayers tomorrow.

We found out a few weeks ago that Marc has a large (10cm) tumor on his left kidney. He is going in for surgery tomorrow morning. So far they are pretty sure it is benign, so that is good news. The doctors couldn't tell from the CT or MRI if the tumor is laying up against the kidney or attached to it. The best case scenario is that it is just laying up against it, but not attached and they can remove it without involving the kidney. The next best is that it is attached to the kideny but only minimumly and they can reomove it and only need to remove part of the kidney. Worst case it that it is involved with the kidney and all the blood vessels and the hylem (sp) and they will have to remove the entire kidney in order to remove the tumor. Of course they won't know until they are able to actualy get in there and look around.

I know there are hundreds of surgeries performed every day, but it is still scary when it happens to someone you love so much.

In any case, if you think about it tomorrow, please, please send good thoughts his way, OK?
