I got one. Stood in line only 3 hours at my local at&t store. I'm an existing client so I had been bombarded with info all this week (e.g. tutorial, plans. etc.) there fore I knew what I wanted and what it did.
I'm really loving it so far! My old Treo 600 had croaked back in Jan, my contract was up so I had decided to go without a contract on a cheapie phone (after being a Treo user, it was like going back to the stone age) until the iPhone came out....worth the wait!!!
edited to add: One of the reasons I loved the treo was that i could tap the screen to do things...blackberry never had the same appeal to me and despite me being a "corporate" user, I don't use my cell phone to do "corporate email triage"...the iphone has taken the "tap the screen" a step further, to the point that the only button you are dealing with is the "home" one. This is right up my alley, I can't stand buttons.
Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry, but by demonstrating that all peoples cry, laugh, eat, worry, and die, it can introduce the idea that if we try and understand each other, we may even become friends ~~M. Angelou~~
