You have probably seen these images from the RSSC website but if not, and case it may be of value to others... Room Picture - ![[Linked Image]](http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a19/robertatwb/Paul_Gauguin_B_Veranda_Stateroom.jpg) Floor Plan- ![[Linked Image]](http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a19/robertatwb/Paul_Gauguin_B_Veranda_Stateroom_Fl.jpg) Specifics - Category B - 305 sq. ft. Stateroom: 249 sq. ft. Veranda: 56 sq. ft. Category B staterooms include Butler service Looks very nice - just steps away from the pool! I'm certain that if any LCT'rs have stayed in that specific cabin or deck they will be forthcoming with information. EDIT: To add that the above photo is not #810, rather, an example of the room type.

thanks so much, robert. I am so curious about the refurbishment... have you seen or heard anything about the improvements?

No, not much. I bumped another thread up. So between them maybe Kristin, Rick and Pat will have something.

We've stayed in 815 - it was great! The butler service was a nice touch. With so few rooms on deck 8, and no through traffic, it was very quiet and private. Cheers, Ken

We were in 814, and I have to agree with Ken - it's a very peaceful deck with no through traffic. A big bonus for us was that we were so close to the pool, which is our favorite place to hang out when sailing warm climes.
Pia, be sure to check out the best-kept secret on PG - go straight forward on deck 8 and out the "front door" - there is a rather large deck in between the 2 grand suites' balconies that is completely private and provides a fabulous vantage point! ;)

LOL. I was just about to post about this. It took us 1/2 the cruise to realize what was there. We were in 803 I believe. Very nice suite.
