Well my husband and I recently returned from our Polynesia cruise on Paul Gaugin. This was our first "luxury cruise". Everything was perfect. I am now wondering what our next cruise will be because how in the world could we top this!!!??? Karen

Well Karen, for me, you can't top the Paul Gauguin and Tahiti. But...the rest of the Regent fleet are actually more luxurious, as cruise ships--larger cabins, wonderful food, great service (albeit a little less casual and friendly). After twice on the PG, we ventured onto the (now defunct) Diamond, and have since done Voyager and Navigator. All I can say is, "wow". But we've been back to the PG twice since, and that's where our hearts will always be.

Glad you had such a great time.

Hi Karen, I would look into a Greek Isle, my favorite itinerary of all!

I agree with Karen--Greek islands, or at least the Med. Mariner will be in the Med. next summer and there are some great deals right now!

Thanks, everyone. So which of the other Regent ships is the nicest. And yes, the Med sounds wonderful. Karen

Well they are all great, but if you're considering the Med. for 2010, Mariner will be the ship I would aim for. It's the one ship that I have not sailed on, but everybody says it's great. Voyager is my personal favourite.

Wendy, I like both the Voyager and Mariner the best but some of my fav staff are on the Mariner so I will give it a slightly higher score. The rooms on the Voyager are a tad bigger but if I hadn't of read that here, I would of never known that by just being in them.
