Arlene, to include Amsterdam is a whole different cruise. You could board in Amsterdam but it would take the river boat about 16 days to reach Budapest and then you would still have to fly to Prague to fit in that city. Too long.
I think that a 7 day trip with days on each end for land in Prague and Budapest is best for peoples first venture into river cruisng.This will be in September 2010. It is the ONLY sure thing for 2010 at this time.
IF we do a Nile River Cruise (and that is just a thought at this point) it will be in the March time frame and would only include Egypt with the possible addition of Jordan. Those that want to do Petra could then accomplish that goal and those that have done Petra could do the Wadi Ram Desert. Of course individuals could branch out before or after the LCT trip and do whatever they wanted to do on their own.
