I have so many favorite servers and can never remember what ship they were on, I thought it would be nice to have them all listed in the same place. If you would, list your favorite dining room or lounge staff ( maybe it's a server, assistant server, sommelier, lounge staff or Maitre d') and what ship they work on. Maybe we can award the person who gets the most mentions with this: ![[Linked Image]](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v495/iamtribble/5264_106839m.jpg)

Anna on Mariner and then Voyager has always been great. We had one on Mariner who was fantastic - can't remember his name - he had the section that used to be the smoking section. He was so efficient (and so close to the kitchen) that we ended up finishing dinner faster even though we never felt rushed.
Another great one was Gerry I think on Navigator and then Voyager.

Arnold -- Bar Manager, Head Waiter from the Song of Flower, Navigator, Voyager and last I heard now on the Paul Gauguin. He has Arnold's Village in the dining room. A very exclusive address.
Martin, Dining Room Manager with a sense of humor that is incredible.
Emily - bar - what a sweetheart.
So many I could go on and on.

Well, friends, who has not had wonderful experiences with Adorable on Voyager?? It has been so good to see him progress from busboy to assistant waiter to headwaiter over the last few years.
(By the way, we finally learned that his name is not pronounced "a-DOR-a-ble", but rather "a-dor-AH-blay". Now, if we can only remember that after several Cosmos before dinner, we will be lucky...)
We are also quite fond of the Maitre D', Laurent.
Cheers, Fred

Rommel from our March Mariner cruise was a unanimous selecton for the Regent Hall of Fame. He "did it all" in the dining room with since congeniality and an unparalleled trademark smile, wit, and sense of humor.

Mark, I remember Anna and you are correct, she is a gem! I also love Gerry, too.
Betty K and I got to experience Arnold's village on the Navigator and it was a most enjoyable experience! I am bummed to hear that he is on the PG now, chances are, I won't get to see him again until he migrates to another ship!

We will be on the PG in a couple of weeks, and will be more than happy to let Arnold know he was a very early vote for favorite staff(what is Arnold's Village). For us it was Joselito, and also Ernesto who charmed everyone on the ship with their great smiles and service.

Oh yes, Karen! I love Arnold. He is the very best! We will miss him when we are on the Navigator in March. I also agree with Luke. Rommel on the Mariner is wonderful. Always so eager to please!

Rommel - he is a dandy too.
Arnold calls his tables his "village". He is the most involved head waiter you can ever imagine. Sit in his village once and you will want to return whenever possible.

Arnold's amazing. I think I've heard he'll be gone from the PG by the time we go in December. (Along with Siglo and Hal Fraser.) I wish I could remember the names of some of our favorite servers on that ship, but my mind is a blank.

Benji and Seth on the Navigator. They are the only waiters we have ever lined up early for so that we could sit in their section. On Caviar, Benji's section was usually completely full by 7:15.

We are in luck. Per CC, Arnold will be on board until the second week of November. We start our b2b Nov.1-21st. I will be able to see what everyone is talking about hopefully. Are we able to ask to sit in his area(village)?

Bing, Carol, Jan, & I have to pick Roy and Felix. They were unbelievable on our "AMAZON" cruise. Understand Roy is on Navigator now so hope he is stll there while we are on "FUN" in March. (Roy always sings The impossible Dream during Krew Kapers)

Laksman and Joselito on the PG stand out of group. Although, the marina crew are great as well but are not waiters.

Sabine Hartmann and earlier Melanie Mießner on Voyager were both superb, absolutely wonderful! Anthony ?, who was headwaiter on the Diamond, then maître d' in Signatures and finally Dining Room manager, both on Mariner was also terrific.
Very few duds on Regent, even now that many of the European staff have been lost to the Euro:dollar "imbalance". I wonder how other lines like Seabourn and Crystal manage to hold their European staff? Generally, they seem so much better at providing great service without being servile, at least to us.
[size=8]Too Many To List - 416 days & counting on Radisson/Regent, and 150+ days on 8 other lines, with one cruise booked next month on the Mariner, Miami to Honolulu 22 days

This is a VERY old thread, but I wanted to ask if anyone has any more recent favorites for the Voyager. In our experience, 99.9% of the staff have been outstanding, but some go above and beyond more than others.
I just recently learned that our absolutely favorite waiter in the Compass Rose (Eric) has been promoted. I am SO HAPPY for him :app: Nice to think that those glowing reviews we submit on our evaluations might really do some good!
Anyway, looking for any suggestions from those of you who have sailed Voyager in the past few months. Although we are pretty laid back folks, we need someone with lots of patience, as we eat late and like to drag out the dinner experience!

Cindy = I was on the Voyager in Dec and didn't know most of the staff. But also had my favorite waiter from Navigator on the Mariner in Sept. They seemed to move staff around a lot last year. Girl at reception was on all 3 cruises. Go Figure. Have no idea what they are doing this year.

I agree 100%! Arlene is a real jewel! Best drink server we ever had, and such a sweet person.
Since she was promoted to Sommelier, they did not have a spot for her on the world cruise, so she is still at home. She's hoping to be back aboard by June. She'll probably be getting on as we get off!

Another vote for Rommel!! he is currently on the mariner and is a Maître d'hôtel. He and his colleague Delphin made our CC curry dinner a roaring success!! Thank you, Delphin and Rommel.
Others:
On the Mariner: Angel Gerry (my namesake, who was on the Nav. in 09) Ivan - wine steward who was also on the Nav last year Arianne in signatures and la Veranda...she is a great waitress and a lovely lovely person!!
then there is an Indonesian in Prime 7, who used to be in Latitudes, and is utterly charming and efficient ... but I can't remember her name!!
On the Navigator in 09 - Gary - "Navigator Idol"!! Great waiter!!
