Karen,
Hi from the middle of the South Atlantic. At the moment, we have three more sea days before we reach Brazil. So while you have a fairly long wait until FUN2, it will be worth the wait.
We've had a virtually perfect cruise so far from Cape Town. The officers and crew are top notch. The service and food has been excellent. The Mariner is in excellent condition. In my opinion and in the opinion of many folks with whom I've spoken, the Mariner has never been better.
FUN2 should be a great cruise.

That would be good because the banner is long, paper and will look better with lots of people holding it.
It say "HELLO FROM LCT ON FUN2" in 3 foot high red letters.
They may not need a webcam to see us.
Maybe someone can post the shot on LCT.

I just checked the sunset time for our sailaway. We are scheduled to sail at 5pm and sunset for that day is 6:11 if I read the chart right ;)
Just in case it's dark, maybe everyone who has a smart phone can download the flashlight app. It's super bright so if we had enough phones, we could be lit up!
