Great to hear from you, Susan - I have been thinking about each of you and wondering how you are doing! Enjoy your heavenly Motu day - I cannot think of any other way I would choose to spend a day in life!

Susan, I'm glad to hear your son is okay, that must have been scary. I hope you all have a great time now that you're safely on the ship!

So sorry Lauri you could not reach anyone at B&K. We normally open at 9.00 am so I guess you called before we opened.

Debbie and I were of course on B2B, Julie left to fly to Europe to pick up the Voyager on June 9th and Susan was on her way to Tahiti with you. However the rest of the staff would be in after 9.00 am.

I guess I need to add more names to the emergency contact list as this could have happened when we were closed.

I think we have just Julie and myself listed as we are rarely gone at the same time. If I am away she has to be in the office. This trip I figured it was okay as it was only about two days we would both be absent. OF COURSE that is very time that something would happen.

Sounds like you handled it well yourself Lauri. All anyone at B&K or a passenger can do is try to reach Regent and if they are closed to call the emergency after hours number for assistance. Amazing that Air Tahiti Nui nor any passenger had already informed Regent.

Glad you all made it safe and sound. When these airlines create these problems it can be a real nightmare.

Wendy,
Thanks for your concern about my son. All the senseless violence is unnerving. Now that we know is all right we can relax and enjoy our trip to paradise.
