Anyone else get an email supposedly from Regent about a survey and a chance to win a free cruise? I think it is bogus - it looked pretty official but the domain name on the return email address is not "rssc.com". I didn't click on the link. Just wondered if anyone else got it. Here's what it said ... (BTW - never received the "previous" email referred to)
"Dear Cynthia _________,
On Tuesday an email was sent from a research partner, Survey Direct, on our behalf with our name misrepresented in the subject line. We apologize for the confusion this may have created.
As a valued Past Guest, your feedback is highly appreciated. We would like to once again invite you to participate in a confidential 20 minute survey that will keep us abreast of your travel and cruise interests. In exchange for sharing your opinions with us, you will be entered in a sweepstakes for a chance to win a cruise on Regent Seven Seas Cruises.
When you are ready to begin the survey, please click here.
Sincerely, Regent Seven Seas Cruises"

Cindy, look in your junk folder for the original email; that is where I found mine. The original was poorly done as it said "Regency Seven Seas Cruise" in subject line. Wes has confirmed with Jason M that it is real which might have led to new email we received today. I sure hope Regent finds a new company to do surveys in future.

Thanks Marc! I found the original finally - I had looked in my junk folder but didn't see it the first time since it was from "Survey Direct". Glad to hear it's legit!

Yikes! Be forewarned if you choose to take this survey - it took a LOT longer than 20 minutes for me!!

It took me a lot longer, too. I found that some of the questions impossible to answer as there was no answer given that was accurate. For example, I have never sailed Silversea, but had to provide an opinion as the survey did not accept "no answer" without voiding every answer that I had provided on the specific page.
I would love for the people/or person from Regent who are/is going to use the survey for future planning to ask for feedback on the survey. It's been awhile since we sailed on Regent, and I'd love to explain why we have made that choice. Unfortunately, the survey didn't give that option.

That was the worst survey ever. After 20 minutes I wasn't even half way done so I just closed it and never finished. Questions were so repetitive and. it was waaaaay too long. Unfortunately "None of the above" was never an option when answering either.

I agree Marcie! The questions were so repetitive that I thought I was in some sort of looping error. And many of the questions did not have any appropriate choice for the answers. No place to offer constructive comments about the issues that we as long time Regent cruisers find important. Very poorly done survey ... I wonder how much Regent paid for this thing??

Survey was pretty bad; I went to hallandpartners.com (website of survey company) and provided feedback (link on home page). I didn't see any familiar Regent (or NCLH) surnames amongst the Hall and Partners "principals" so not any apparent ties; I hope they find a different survey company in the future.
