Actually the Panda zoo we visited was in Chongqing, not Chengdu. No opportunity to hold a panda there. Chongqing is in the west and is China's largest city with 35 million people. It's city limits are 300 miles by 200 miles. The food in the photo Marcie asked about is pig feet and a pig face skin. They use it all.

Yes I have been to Chongqing but do not think I saw Pandas there. We were on a land trip at that time after the river boat trip. Pandas are great to see wherever you see them.
